Let's
begin with the name. When dreaming up a new online handle about seven
years ago, I was studying art history in college. I loved the emotion
and spontaneity within abstract expressionism. It seemed such a visual
metaphor for the human spirit/soul. From this evolved the name
SoulSplat. Now the name also seems to fit my fascination with horror
and my sarcastic wit. Hopefully everyone reading this will find that
out for themselves. The sarcasm that is; not the horror part.
I'm a 35 year old who splits his time between corporate America and the
Atlanta scene. My interests are fairly diverse. Shamanism for me has
been a lifelong study and is probably my strongest link to the vampire
community.
I hope to bump into each and everyone of you sometimes. I'm constantly
out and about. If it's happening in Atlanta and it's not common
knowledge (promoted in the Loaf, on the radio, TV, or populated with
trendy wannabees or Buckhead smooze artists) I'm probably there.
